I just finished my 51 B. Its pretty simple. The regulator to the light switch goes from the "L" on the regulator to the switch. This is the load. The ammeter connects to the "B" of the regulator. If the meter shows a discharge when running and you know the system is charging, then the meter wires are swapped on the gauge. The parts breakdown actually has a good photo sketch, and its free on the JD parts site.
