The wife and I took a little road trip last Saturday down to Nebo, IL. Our anniversary is Sunday, the 29th. Checked out Heartland Lodge down there, we are staying Sunday night. We are taking one horse and I am taking the little Polaris 350. Sportsman 500 4x4 has a broken motor mount.
Anyhow, I can't believe that they are actually griping they need moisture, but it is true, they do. Some NH3 being spring knifed, along with lots of tillage being done. It does indeed look awful dry there. Less than 100 miles south from me.
I am SO TIRED of the cold and wet. Took the back road home from running over to Carthage last evening, had to drive through flood water AGAIN. It was only about 3 inches deep, so could see no damage had occurred to the road. BUT, is it ever going to dry up? Or when it does, is that going to be the last of the rain all summer? DOUG
