The left arm rides on the shaft and is held in place by a split bearing (sorta like a connecting rod). Right side bearing is split also I think (been over 20 years) and carries only the shaft. To get the left side inner arm off it will have to be disconnected from the cylinder rod up under the front of the touch control unit. Unless you have midget hands, the whole touch control housing has to come off to get to this I THINK. (like I said, its been a while). You have the hard part done getting those taper fits loose. Just take the whole thing off the tractor and remove the four 5/8 bolts that hold the split bearings on and it will fall apart. HTH.
