I had a friend to take me a boat ride once and after about a quarter mile from the boatdock, the motor quit. After working on it for a good while, I got to questioning him about things. What kind of oil did you use? His reply was 10W30! It was not dissolved in the gasoline, it was great big long goobers that just stopped up the carburator! Needless to say, we had a helluva time getting it back to the dock. Be careful on advising putting regular motor oil in the fuel tank or it might be gooberville for you too! L8R----Fred
