Heres an easy and cheap way to figure it out and a good idea to do any how. Take it in to have it tested and when you do talk to the guy and have him show you how it is set up on the test bench. That way you know you have it right plus you know the alternator is good before you try to install it. In the long run that will help you out a lot because if it is bad you might go crazy trying to figure out what is wrong
