A mile is a long way to be bouncin around on a tractor with snow blowin around ya. stickin to ur face and blowin down the back of ur neck. Ur ears will get so cold feel like if u was to tap them they would shatter. A truck dedicated to plowin, with some weight in the bed and some chains would be the cats meow!! U will plow a mile drive and ur yard * depending how big a yard in about 30-45 minutes, a tractor will take considerable longer with just a bucket. The bucket would come in handy to push back banks latter in the winter if u have narrow drive. All in all a truck is warm, dry, has a radio, place to set a cup of coffee and a place for company! Good luck
