Can safely run up to 1250 for long periods of time. Thats assuming you put the pyro on PRE TURBO. You can hit 1350 for real short bursts (5-10 sec) with out causing problems. If you notice that your EGT's are too high you can safely run 35 LBS of boost with th HX-35 turbo that is on your pickup. On my dads 97 we just unhooke the wastegate accuator hose @the AFC housing and plugged the port. If you dont feel comfotable doing that there are companies that sell "boost elbows" or adjustable wasegate accuators so that you can set the max boost to 35LBS. That will make a substantial difference in EGT's and possibly WOT power if you have any smoke under load.
