I am a US Marine, active 86 to 91. I have been in the Indian ocean many times. I know for a fact that this time of year it can be DEAD CALM. I mean the ship I was on wake was the only disturbance on the ocean at times from where we were to the horizon. I have no idea what the water condition was today but...all that to say that a head shot from a sniper is believeable from a ship if it were as calm as I have seen it.
Been in the Pacific where it would have been IMPOSSIBLE. 45 degree rolls on BIG boat.
