There was/is a company in Cedarburg? WI that made a small crawler and offered kits, plans and parts. They are now called Magnatracks and are hydraulic run. The early ones were Mini-Dozers amd had belt drive and small engines. You can see thier ads in back of Popular Science magazines. The company was called Struk-kit but may have changed name for modern times. I see them at shows sometimes and they bring big dollars. They were not that useful, just a toy back then.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
