This bunch here bought 2 of the 45 DI's and they seem pretty good. They're about 1&1/2 yrs old now and all we had break so far is the main power steering line. I really do like them as far as servicing and being able to crank them after they've been sitting awhile. I was told the same thing as you on the Perkins parts working ok. I don't know what they did different on the injectors and fuel pump to get more hoss power and better fuel economy, but these get better fuel mileage than the Fergusons in the same CID engined Perkins. I know it's and all together different pump set up and pump. These PTO's don't shift hard on these, but I have heard others say that theirs shift hard, and I don't know why that's so.
