Well, there are of course the factory "high- crop" tractors that were designed to straddle taller row crops while cultivating. Most manufacturers had a high crop tractor or two in there lineups. Going beyond that, I have seen pictures of a John Deere tractor that had 6 foot of clearance between the ground and the drawbar. In fact, that picture is in a book have have (but it isn't in front of me now). It had chain final drives and was very well built. It was not clear whether the tractor was from the factory that way or modified later in its life. The book said the tractor was used for spraying tassled corn which would already be full grown and thus explain the six feet of clearance. Hope this helps.
