Don't let the prices red belley quoted scare you. You can get a rebuilt pump for like $400 and a drive motor for less. Bigger machines have bigger pumps and they cost even more. Just make sure the hydro's are good by pushing up against a tree or tractor and make sure each side can spin the tires, preferably with some load on the bucket. It should spin them fairly easy. If one side seems a little soft, also check to see if it tracks straight driving it. Push the sticks fully ahead and go a few hundred feet. Do the same in reverse. It should track fairly straight. I have had probably a dozen or more of them, pretty decent machines, especially the c series with the twin cylinder engine, just be sure to check out the hydros.
