After Heller decision the precedented case law finally sort of agrees with 2nd amendment. Any legislature or city council member that has enacted something different now faces a personal civil rights violation law suit for triple damages- a wrongfull death suit from family of someone who had firearm taken away by police acting under that law and was kill when unable to defend himself may end up costing politician his home as police dept is immune from suit under Warren/1976 case- but lawmaker is not. A political party that publicly endorsed unconstitutional law may be held as liable party to suit- there goes campaign money. Would make a interesting legal point- as a former judge who sentanced under unconstitutional law might have sentances overturned and new job in justice dept lost- Holder may need to update resume".
