Wasn't too bad here- I stayed a little bit later at work and started making new shafts for the corner wheel bases in our barn cleaner. Making 12 of them this time- Just need to cross drill the grease hole and slot it to go along the entire bushing.
Went home and fixed a universal joint on our manure spreader, but while greasing the rest of it grease came out a broken cap on the other side of the joint. Now I'll have to try removing the shaft from the spreader to fix the other joint. Might be able to use the 2 good caps from the other replaced joint, but I'd have to try getting it apart without wrecking the rest of the caps.
Helped unload a wagon of hay that we bought- Was a 9x18 kicker wagon stacked 2 layers above the cage. Something like 220 bales on that wagon. When they were leaving I saw the back tire on the wagon was shifting side to side, so Dad called them at home and left a message to check the wheel bearings- He was talking about selling hay to a guy who is 75 miles away this next week.
Took my 1600 for a drive around the country block (probably 5-6 miles) just for the heck of it. Was kinda fun.
