Spook, you apparently don't know all about public service announcements. PSA's are AIRED for free by broadcasters, but it'n NOT true that the "talent," even "talent on loan from God," ALWAYS performs in these PSA's for free.
My guess is, Limbaugh either (a) got paid for his performance/appearance, or (b) will get to take a helathy tax deduction for the donated time and talent [based upon what he would normally be paid for such a performance], if it was donated.
But don't expect that Limbaugh gave anyone, even the HSUS, a TOTALLY free ride. That's not how capitalism works, and [love him or hate him] capitalism has never had a more ardent supporter than Mr.Limbaugh.
