Lanse. The subject of rust in gas tanks is postedat least once a week on this board. The achives are jammed full of threads. 90% of them recommend a phosphoric acid bath, and or pro radiator shop steam.acid cleaning. Too bad you ran into some real dodos at your shop. Go back down there and take an adult male, at least 50 years old with you preferably someone in the auto/tractor industry. Demand your money back, ALL of it. Just let the adult listen at first and not get involved unlees the bogus shop people get huffy.You might mention court/attorneys, and small claims if you need to. But the best approach is humility, but "confusion" how this happened,and disappointment, And a willingness to let them fix their mistake, at no further cost to you. PS Take your video with you. Mention that you could easily add their business name and footage of their shop to it before posting it up on a dozen web sites.
