I can do that with the screen on my lightbar, only disadvantage being it is a B/W 3 inch screen(Trimble EZ guide plus), but enough to look at the map and see if I made any skips. I farm in the prairie pot hole region of ND and often have to farm around 6 or more pot holes in a 160 acre field. The later model Trimble (250 & 500 and most other brand light bars) have much larger color screens, so I don't know if it would be worth banging a laptop around in the vibration and dust of a tractor cab. Just my opinion.
