I just got back from a neighbor's house who said he had some old tractors he wanted me to look at. Sitting in his barn are two old Case RC tractors, i was hoping for Farmalls but they are in very good shape. The serial numbers were hard to read but I did my best, I'm not making much sense of this website's serial number page for Case's so I was hoping to get help from you guys. The first is a side-steer,#229066. The second is an over-the-top steer,#332976. Again the numbers were hard to read and they might be wrong, but I would really appreciate any help. Also I was wondering about what price i should pay for the pair? The side-steer has a sickal mower and turns over. Both have good rims and even good tires. The over-the-top steer is stuck and the gas tank and tool box is rusted out. Both are missing the air-cleaner tops but otherwise complete. For as old as they are the are pretty nice and would be very nice fixed up with my Farmalls. Thanks for any help.
