I think in the context when you hear the term "Louisville Tractor", most often, people are referring to the Super M`s that were produced at the Louisville plant. As you may or may not know, Farmall M`s were all made at Farmall Works in Rock Island,IL.During Super M production, I think it`s because IH couldn`t pump out enough tractors out of Farmall Works, they manufactured some Super M`s at the Lousville Works. I don`t know how many were made there for sure, it was in the thousands ,though.
Also made at Louisville were the late A`s, the C,Super A, Super C,100,200,130,230,140,240,404,2404,424(skidded from Doncaster,England and finished here)
