I've posted an answer to this discussion topic 2 to 3 weeks ago. My thoughts are still the same. The Tekonsha Prodigy and the newer P3 models get my vote, and soon my money. I am going to stretch a bit and go for the P3 (both are inertia based). If and when I need to, it is an easy change to a different truck. I will not risk my life and others to a brake controller which is based on the timing function. It is hard to drive and is a poor response in situations needing a quick or panic stop.
