My wife likes the 2005 JD 4010 (18.5 HP compact utility -Yanmar in JD Green) that I bought her for her birthday (also got her a chain saw- she loved both presents). Hydrostatic, loader, etc. We may reminisce about our childhood, baling with an H, that ole Oliver 88 diesel bellowing into the night, etc.- but she wasn't doing that in those days, and just wants something that she can start and operate. Something she couldn't do with any of my old relics, because she couldn't start them, and if she did, the Armstrong power steering wore her out after two loads.
