Yes, it's official, I've had my first bonefide "senior moment". And boy, did I ever do it in a big way!
Was at a jam session yesterday afternoon. I took it in my head to do "Keys in the Mailbox"; just a good ol' shut kickin', honky tonk, 2-step tune. Now, ya gotta understand that I've been singin' that silly song for over 40 years now.
Anyway, got up there in front of all those people and all those killer musicians and couldn't fer the life of me remember the words to the song! Total egg on my face! That one hurt, I'll tell ya! :>(
Think the song you're talking about is "jealous heart"? I'll see if I can dig that old tune out and put it up here as soon as I can find it. I remember my mom played the piano and I filled in on a flat-top guitar. She cheated tho, 'cause she used the sheet music. :>)
