Very respectfully, that attitude is part of the problem. Too many people don't want to get involved. "I can't do anything about it", hogwash. The founding Fathers counted on people being involved, discussing the things going on around them that do in fact affect them, and talking with friends and family members and pursuading them to get on the right track.

Or I guess you can sit by and let the activist Left take you wherever they want to take you, until it's too late to do anything about it.
