Under Bush businesses could do no wrong, so the scammers had a field day. I filed a complaint with the FCC and and got an email back that they found no violation. What I complained about was illegal for fifty years and still is, so I called them and was told a business could do what they wanted. Congress would pass a law and Bush would not hire anybody into the enforcement position. So anyway now that that SOB is gone, I file on every crank/spam/sales call and they disappear. Here's a call i was getting and what happened. It was one of those computer calls looking for so and so, it said if you're not her don't continue this is private. Seems like a violation of that persons privacy rights. But if you are so and so push #9 or to stop receiving these calls push #. I got about three of these calls a month and it was always a robot. The next time I saw the number on caller ID after i filed a person was on the phone and asked nicely if that person was at this number.
