I sure didn't need the .3" I got last night but I am not going to fuss one bit. Just south and west of me they got 1.5+, strong wind, and hail. Talked to my uncle just now and he said tobacco in mashed to the ground and he has a good bit of tree limbs to get off the fences he just got fixed from the ice storm. Talked to a buddy that was going down the road just 5 miles from the house and the only "on time" corn around here that looked half way good had about 100 acres lay'n flat on the ground. Got to go after parts that way so I will see for myself. This is not shape'n up to be a good year, at least it dried out enough the last 36 hours since the last rain that my corn did not have water standing on it. I normally get mad at myself for buy'n stuff at auction but I sure am glad I started that 10" ditcher out at $100 in Dec., guess every one else figured with a start'n bid like that it was junk, sure made my money back on it several times on seed alone.
