I concur. I was talking to my Dad about all this and he is disgusted too. So I asked him what's he going to do about it? He, and so many others say, "What can I do?".
It seems out forefather's had a stronger belief in this country and what it stands for, and were more willing to make sacrifices, was well as the ultimate sacrifice, for future generations.
Seems today everyone is too involved in their own lives, too used to soft living, too conditioned to accept things happening to them, and not accept responsibility for having allowed them to happen.
I'm not one of them.
Jeffereson said the citizens would revolt every 25 years, due to the Federal government's overstepping it's Constitutional limits. It would seem we're about 200 past due. Perhaps it won't come to that, maybe our representatives will come to their senses, but I'm not banking on it. And short of that, how else can we turn things around and bring the government back into line with what the Founders intended?
