I've heard of the fake bidding, but haven't seen it. One consignment sale I go to, I swear I'm the only one that bought anything in the past 3 years, 2wce a year - same machinery over & over. I think it is a clearing house for 3 auctioneers, and they don't seem in a hurry to move anything they aquired at their sales. I guess I just bid what I'm willing to pay, & don't worry about who's doing what. But it does get tiring seeing the same stuff year after year. The other 2 consignments I frequent seem to be run pretty well, true farmer consignments. --->Paul
