Gary, I think this is not uncommon at this age, a lot of things can get to you, you start to realize your age, though you may not feel much different, you realize you're not in your 20's anymore, and somethings you can't change. You have to adapt and overcome the things that get to you, you have to make changes, move forward, make progress no matter how little or insignificant, it's easy to fall into a trap, and difficult to get out, but not impossible.
The other alternative, just do yourself in ???? It's the easy way out, your choice, nothing worth doing is ever easy, you have been dealing with this for too long, do something about it and don't give up.
If you think things are bad, get on a plane and fly to an impoverished, dictator ruled country, you'll realize that all of us live in gluttony compared to them, appreciate what you have, work hard to improve your life, don't look back, the alternative is a permanent one, your call, taking the easy way out is not the solution, you can do better and you know you can, so DO IT !!!!!!
