Color me lazy, but I usually leave my loader on when baling. It just doesn't make sense to fight it on and off every day between baling and hauling bales. I barely have any time as it is. With the bale spear on the loader, it's not much of an annoyance to bale with it on. Although lately I've been baling in swampy ground, so I have to take off every bit of weight than comes off when baling.
