mkrisch, First of all just keep an eye on your fuel gauge, But as so many times you are pushing to finish a field and you start to run out of fuel... It is not like a gasoline running out of fuel. Assuming you are at "High Idle" Wide open throttle when it happens immediately reduce the the throttle to about 1/2 to 2/3 throttle, The engine will run just fine just do not over fuel the engine, For there is not enough fuel to run. But at lower rpm it will opperate just lovely! Get your plow up, get out of the field NOW or head home now as long as it isn't over 2 miles. get in Hi gear and run at the fastest rpm as the fuel will allow. Coast in and refill out of your tank. A fuel can can be made from an old 5gal/20lb tank, one with the old style valves that doesn't have the internal shutoff, os when the tank is turned upside down the tank will feed out liquid gas. Connect with a hose with a standard bleeder end. screw on the bleeder to the tractor tank, open valve on the LP gas can tank turn it upside down, Viola the lp is transfered to the tractor fuel tank from the small nurse tank. It aint no big deal. Hope this helps If you have ??? call me at 512-577-3837 Later, John A.
