wally world pays better than the mom and pops ever paid. They have better benefits than the mom and pops. They give back to the communitees more than the mom and pops... They sell on a margin close to 3 percent profit.. but make it up in volume.
There is no economic are social argument against them if you beleive in capitalism and freedom.
They simply do it better.
Mom and pops end up being rich people in small towns who propagate the class system to their own advantage by spreading false rumors..
no, you will not get cancer or crabs from either buying or working for walmart. walmart employees make more money working than mom and pop workers ever did.
and walmart competes with mom and pops who only pay minimum wages and have NO benefits. So if the truth is put on the table, your arguments dont hold any water.
walmart did what sears and roebuck did, what jc pennys did, what benjamin franklins did, only they did it in the last 20 years and did it better than anyone else.
so lets punish someone for doing it better and encourage sloppy, expensive, inefficient moms and pops because we are simply too dumb or communists.
