Hey folks,
Related to my hydraulic question earlier,
[quote]When I put the loader on my tractor, I scrounged an adapter that lets me use a more modern joystick that I can add extra sticks (blocks) just by increasing the length of the mounting bolts (trying to find a picture of one). Anyway, there is the in and out connections on the block to connect it in series w/ the hyd line and the output to equipment. The adapter has a connection that serves as a return to let the oil back into reservior. Question is, the block (joystick) will bolt directly to the tractor and do away with the adapter. What would doing away with the extra return line do? I'm thinking the loader (etc) would still work just lower/release a little slower without the extra bleedoff. Am I making sense? [\quote]
does any of your tractors use this type ov control for loaders, etc? Usually by Bosch type is SB1 (think the SB is for serial block because they can be added like pancakes.
on newer (IHC) models (early 70's?).
It will bolt up to mine without the adapter block I mentioned but does not have the extra return to the reservior.
Do you folks have these or are they only used over here?
Thanks, Dave

It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug. Classified as a 3-bottom plow depending on soil conditions. I personally don't think it can be beat for a utility tractor in the 40 HP range. They are extremely thrifty on fuel, at least my DSL is. Most drive train parts are fairly easy to get. Sheet metal is probably the hardest thing to
