I think most of the plows designed for Ford N series were like that. It's not a great system, but it works. John Deere M's also used that same concept; there are probably others.
If I recall correctly, the Belarus uses an external cylinder to operate the 3pt. If you don't have a remote cylinder port, it might be worth your time to put a diverter valve inline with it. Then you could put a hydraulic cylinder on the front instead of running cables.
