Gary, I don't know if it will help but I would guess that more than 75% on this forum has seen hard times and I'm probably being conservative and I know for a fact that I've had my lights turned off and ignorred many threatening collector phone calls in my journey through life trying to raise a family and pay for a home also lost a business through an SBA loan. My reccomendation is do not I repeat do not file bankruptcy that seems to carry a stigma you cannot get out of regardless of the rules. My guess is you grew up in family that preached always pay your bills early or on time which I think breeds your depression my advice is get over it! My e-mail is open feel free to talk about it.
