Unreal - I just bought an '06 Dodge Ram 3500 ensuring it had the Cummins 5.9 engine. I researched before shopping and decided to avoid the new 6.7 engine after reading the horror stories by people who had bought them. They said the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and associated monitoring/computer systems cause these trucks to live in the shop. I can only imagine the nightmares this new emission system will give customers. Hope my 5.9 lasts for 500k miles!
