The best place to rebuild a carburetor is the kitchen table. Most of the antique tractor carburetors are easier to do than fixing a leaky faucet. If you live near a Vo-Tech school any tractor or auto-mechanics teacher would be able to give you some advice if you get stuck. Rebuilding is a misnomer. Unless you have a broken casting, you clean all the passages with carburetor cleaner and compressed air, replace the needle and seat, check for a leaky float, and install a new gasket. Cost should be from $20 - $30.
