Before Round-up Ready soybeans I saved some for seed and cleaned them. I usually saved enough for two years at a time, so by the second year they were two years old. Every third year I would buy new certified seed. I usually increased my planting rates about 10% but never noticed any yield reduction. Considering the reduction in seed cost I would go for it. Paul
