I am trying to get the pitman bearing out of a pt-7 hesston mower conditioner. I have already got the 9 bolts off that hold it to the crankshaft piece. It said something in the manual and the lock collar. Can somebody walk me through the rest. Also somebody told me that to take the pitman bearing out, I would have to heat it up. But can I take it out without heating it up since I would have to take it somewhere to heat it. I have the manual but it is about useless and says very little about taking the pitman bearing out. Thanks for any help
