I would like to have some cats around the farm but we have distemper on this place so any cat we bring in gets sick and eventually disappears. When our daughter was still home she somehow caught all the cats and had them vaccinated for distemper. In a couple of years we had over thirty healthy cats running around here, and there wasn't a rat or mouse to be found. When she left, so did the cats. Jim
