Yes, its worth it for the old stuff but I got tired of seeing bigger and bigger new equipment every year (that I don't need and can't afford) so I quit going. I go to the Dakotafest now - it's by Mitchell, S.D. Aug. 18-20. Sure, they got the big equipment there also but they have more haying equipment there and John Deere has a display there - they don't even have one at Farmfest! And more often than not, one of the major manufacturers unveils some new piece of equipment there. I saw a Deere ad yesterday that said to watch for a new forage harvester on Aug. 20 so they may very well have that at Dakotafest this year.
