Accidental fires are from a blow torch or some unrelated function like an act of god or power line fell. Fires that are set to clear brush or unwanted trash carry a lot of responsiblity which means watching the weather or dry conditions that forebidden open burning or near a hospital or nursing home those kind of fires have caused thousands of dollars worth of damage and can make a person liable for all of it.IMHO it doesn't matter if Red1 likes cedars or not it did damage his property and the neighbor is liable. The point I'm making is you can do pretty much what you want as long as it stays in the confines of your property and doesn't violate the rights of others. Sorry guys I've seen this situation before however it all depends if you want to be a bad guy with your neighbor and I vote in favor of Red1.
