And what does all this mean?My truck new after break in was run a long time on Pennziol then I became friends with a National sprint car champion who was sponsered by quaker state so I switched for 80,000 miles to Quaker. Now It has Castrol Oil in it the last 30,000 or so. point is it has nearing 220,000 miles on it,uses no oil between 5000 mile oil changes and has plenty of power and runs good.This is a Ford 460 CI. Engine.I am not a believer in reports from a so called expert on the evels of using oil other than thier preference except I would draw the line sat using reclaimed oil such as used to be for sale in my youth. My big truck,a diesel has never in it's 170,000 mile life had any thing but Shell Rottella T in it and all my vehicles have Napa filters on them,not to say that they haven't had other brands in thier lifetime for filtering.I don't see any thing wrong with Oils from Wal-mart.They have to be as good as Carquest,Auto Zone,Pep Boys,etc.Now these places the Chinese and Indians etc. really pander to.
