Our non-partisian congressional budget office has run the numbers and has said this plan will raise costs. The president has lied and said it will lower costs. The only way it will lower costs is by rationing health care. Just like you do up there. Well, I'm not for it. You can take it and swallow it and have, but when it's my family who needs it, no matter what their age or condition, I want them to have it. You can bite the bullet and tell your mother, "sorry, you're too old for that pacemaker, or too far along with that cancer to get anymore treatment". For me, I want every minute I can have with my loved ones. I guess that's just the difference between us. You'll foresake a few for what you see as the betterment of the collective. It's ingrained in you communists.
Truth of the matter is there is no healthcare crisis here. The 47 million people uninsured is a lie. 90% os us have insurance. Poll after poll finds that most are happy with their coverage. Who the hell are you to tell us what we should be doing in our own country. I know about the lotteries you're having up there to see who gets a family doctor. I know about the people who can afford to coming here to get simple procedures performed that your government TELLS you that you can't have, or must wait too long to get.
I asked you one simple question and you refused to answer it, like I knew you would. That question was: Do you think it is right to force one person to serve another, against his will, whatever the circumstance? Be it out and out slavery, or taking what one person has worked for and giving to another who has not earned it. You can spew your liberally goobly gook all you want, I know the answer. It was wrong to force people into slavery, and it's just as wrong to force one person to work hard to earn a living just to have his wealth stolen from him and given to someone else all in the name of fairness. Americans are the most charitible people on the planet. Our rich have done more for the global populace than any other group of people on the planet. Americans have done more to provide for the rest of the world because of our freedom. Our freedom to work and keep what is ours. And we then choose to share that wealth. When there is a natural disaster in Asia, who do they call? Canada? Hardly! They call the USA. They don't even have to call, we volunteer. When Europe was killing each other in two world wars, who came and saved them? The USA. Our industrial machine created the weapons, food, and money that is took to beat back the Facists in Germany and Japan. I won't stand here and listen to the likes of you run my country down. There is no freedom without capitalism. The right to keep what one earns is a basic fundamental of liberty. To be forced to give one's legitamately earned wealth to another goes against all that our Founding Fathers fought for. So I ask you again, is it ever right to force one person to serve another against his will? In any circumstance? The answer, wether you like it or not, is no.
