If you go with steel siding and roof, find a supplier that sells to the commercial builders. He will sell you a much better product than you get at the builder supply for the same cost or less and can cut every piece to your custom length at no extra charge. Saved me a world of work and made ten times nicer building. The other guys are right about the vapor barrier, I missed that one.
