Called the local Firestone dealer and asked for a price on four new tires for the JD 201 planter trailer. Seemed to be pretty competitive, so took the old tires/rims in. Was surprised to see Chinese tires when picked up. Look remarkably like the original tires but have the "Chink" name. They worked fine for the following trip to get the 12 row planter, but approximtely six months later had trouble with one holding pressure. Took it back and they had to screw around with it several days before they got the tire bead to completely seal. Didn't fix the problem with tire sealant. Don't know about wear characteristics because tire wear isn't a big factor on a planter trailer. The planter was at the maximum rating for the trailer/tires, so tire construction appears to be OK.
