Lennard, in the long run detergent oil would be the best for your engine, BUT if it has always had non-detergent oil in it you will have a real mess on your hands until all the crud that the detergent oil breaks loose is removed (many oil & filter changes required). I am not familiar with the MM so as Soder says if it doesn't have an oil filter I wouldn't use detergent oil if it never has before.
