I didn't sign any leases during the big frenzy last year. Seems like everyone was writing leases. Mostly speculators. Here in Bradford county it's boiled down to mainly Fortuna energy and Chesapeke energy. I went down to the Troy Fair hoping to talk to them, but Chesapeke didn't have a rep there like I was told and Fortuna's rep was a cute but clueless blonde that spent the week telling everyone that 'the guy that knows about all that will be right back'. There is a lot of drilling going on locally and water trucks running constantly. If I were 30 years younger I'd consider signing on as a roughneck. I read their job descriptions and it sounds like easier work for 5X the money I was making back in the day.
