I have a 273 can't say enough about it. It's great. 1. are you using the right twine for square bales? I didn't for a year still tied good but once in a while i would get finicky. Now i have the thicker twine and it doesn't miss a beat.
Adjustment of the wiper is fairly critical.
When i had problems . I had someone turn the flywheel real slow and trip the tier rod and watch what happens on the good knot side. Compare the two and you will find your problem. You can't beat these knotters they, are bullet proof. Something is just a little out of wack.
Compare both knotters. Don't give up you will find it . Hey you have one working , you can get the other one working again.
Do you have the twine threaded properly , i screwed mine up once and had a heck of a time till i found where it had not been run properly.
