Everything is made in China....your house is full of China stuff. Lightening might hit my barn and short out the chargers, so what? It also may burn my barn and house down...that's why I carry insurance. Different strokes...I also have a hydrometer but prefer not to fool with my batteries once a month or every two months. Bought the float chargers 5 years ago and for 5 years, I didn't have to fool with a hydrometer 6 times x5 batteries= 30 manipulations for the season. Nope, he wants to fool with them monthly, his business and certainly yours. I prefer not to mess with them.
