My neighbor paid $8,000 for a MF 540 with a 4-row wide corn header, and a 13'or 15'header on it 2 years ago. I thought that was too high. It's never sat outside and it's in great shape. It has it's share of problems when it got plugged up a cast iron hub spindle cracked on it and before he could shut it down It (tangled in a knot) with the belt, cost him $600 to fix. Not a good combine if you ask me. You could have at least trippled your money on the price of the IH's.
